The Yankee Pole Cat Insulator Club is pleased to announce our Fall 2024 Swap on Saturday September 21. The swap is once again being held at the Manchester (CT) Land Conservation Trust Bush Hill Farm property. The address is 330 Bush Hill Rd, Manchester, CT. We will be outdoors in the back lot - follow the driveway to the right of the barn. If you have collector friends that are not members of the online insulator community, please let them know about the swap. ADMISSION IS FREE! This will be our only outdoor, informal get-together for 2024. Based on prior outdoor swaps, we anticipate many dealer tables as well a huge throng of eager collectors looking for goodies. Hours are 9-1. If you are planning on attending, PLEASE DO NOT ARRIVE BEFORE 8. There is no charge to set-up as many tables as you want; all tabletop collectibles are welcome. There are no tables on-site so please bring whatever table(s) and chair(s) you need. There is a port-o-potty on site adjacent to the barn by the main road. Continuing our tradition, there will be a lunch provided by the Pole Cats, free of charge! If you are planning on attending and will be staying for lunch, please let me know ahead of time so I can get an accurate count for the lunch. Merzoian Brothers 25th Annual Tailgater The Merzoian Brothers Tailgater is to be held Saturday, September 28th 2024 under Mark Merzoian's large cool pole barn, located just south of Porterville (CA) (Hwy 65 south to Ave. 112. go west to 22593 Ave. 112). Tables, breakfast snacks, and lunch will be provided. Please join us. bring glass, mud, and go-withs to sell, trade, or just to "show-off". Reunite with friends from near and afar. The weather is usually cool and wonderful. There are several nice motels in Porterville. We like to think of our gathering as a "Mini-Rohde" (the King of Tailgaters).
