Show opens Saturday at 9:00 AM. Having had a very successful "full house" in 2024, the Central Florida Insulator Collectors (CFIC) and the Antique Telephone Collectors Association (ATCA) are pleased to announce their annual SHOW and SALE on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at the Casselberry Recreation Center located at 200 N Triplet Lake Drive, just two blocks off US 17/92 and at the same location as prior years. This is the same weekend as Renninger's Antique Extravaganza. Dealer Set-up is from 3:00-5:00 PM (Note the time change) on Friday, January 17 and on Saturday, January 18, 7-9 AM. Show opens to the public on Saturday at 9 am. 6' x 30" tables are $25.00 for the first and $15.00 for each additional table. Items for sale include insulators (glass & porcelain), telephones, bottles, signs, jars, lightning rod equipment, flasks, stoneware, telephone and telegraph collectibles, and other table-top collectibles. The Ottawa Valley Insulator Collectors show and sale is good to go on April 26th, 2025. There is a change of venue for this year's show. The show is still based in Perth Ontario, but instead of the Lions hall, 5 minutes south, we are in the Lanark Civitan Hall, 15 minutes north.The Tay Inn will have a block of rooms set aside for show goers who come up on the Friday night. Also happening in Perth is the annual Festival of the Maples. Check out the web site at : https://festivalofthemaples.com Traveling from Perth to Lanark, you will pass through Balderson Ontario, the home place of Balderson Cheese. Their web site is: https://www.baldersonvillagecheese.com The Lanark Civitan Hall is located at 2144 Pine Grove Road, Lanark Ontario. This is directly north of Perth via hwy 511. All are asked to respect the Canadian-Rules where dealer trading begins at 9am and the hall doors open at 10 AM. There will be sandwiches, coffee, water and pie available at the hall. As with previous shows, there will be a free table, where the usual bring-some-take-some happens. It is a great way to thin out extra insulators and help newer collectors. 28th Hawkeye State Insulator Swap Meet is at the American Legion Hall, 1105 E 5th Street, Tama, IA 52339. Those dealers planning on setting up can do so starting at 7:00 AM. The show is 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM. There will be an auction mid-morning with part of the proceeds going towards the cost of supporting the show which continues to be at no cost for those attending. Second annual Wabash Valley Insulator Show will be held August 2, 2025 at the Shelburn Community Building, 30 Interurban St, Shelburn, IN 47879. Dealer set-up will begin Friday, August 1st, at 2:00 PM EST. The show will open to the public at 8:00 AM, Saturday, August 2nd, and run until the last man leaves that evening. Sunday morning, the building will be open for dealer teardown. This day will not be advertised to the public. The show is located off of Highway 41 in Shelburn, IN, less than half an hour south of Interstate 70 in Terre Haute, and 35 minutes to Highway 50/150 in Vincennes. Just three hours from major cities such as Chicago, Cincinnati, Dayton, Fort Wayne, Louisville, and St. Louis, this is the perfect central location.
